Dave Blakey breathes life into music - music that spans Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock, as well as Flamenco and Latin American styles.  His versatility is extraordinary; his style and technique impeccable.  A devoted guitarist for over 30 years, he seeks out, selects and arranges music to constantly expand his musical dimensions.  No matter what style, his music expresses every mood and emotion, with the consummate taste and skill of a master.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Dave Blakey studied classical guitar with Rey de la Torre, Jazz with David Smith and Flamenco with David Serva.  He regularly performs throughout the Bay Area and has toured nationally.  He has appeared on the Discovery Channel and speaks at and performs for schools.
